Yoga classes
WHAT IS YOGA?
Yoga is the ability to direct the mind exclusively towards one object and maintain that direction without any distraction. Sutra I.2 (Yoga-sutra of Patanjali. T.K.V. Desikachar).
When talking about Yoga we could do it from many points of view. We could say that the practice of Yoga helps us to objectify the mind, the senses, the body, the emotions and the intelligence. And in this process of self-investigation, the cultivation and sublimation of the whole person results.
Yoga practice demonstrates and teaches how the eight petals or members of Patañjali's Yoga are integrated: Yama (ethical principles in relation to society), Niyama (individual observations), Asana (postures), Pra̅na̅ya̅ma (control, of the breath) , Pratyahara (internalization of the senses), Dha̅rana (concentration), Dhya̅na (meditation) and Sama̅dhi (absorption).
In our Yoga classes the Asanas, Pra̅na̅ya̅ma and Pratya̅ha̅ra will be present primarily, which in relation to the rest of the stages of Yoga as we said before will help us to advance in our development.
With the practice of yoga our health remains awake, dissipating tensions, pains, and we gain mobility. The Mind will remain calmer, and as a consequence calm will become and with it peace. -
YOGA classes for CHILDREN
YOGA CHILDREN
If we taught meditation to every 8 year old,
we would eliminate violence in a single generation, Dalai Lama. Why are you looking for Yoga classes for children? That is the first question a parent should ask when seeking this type of practice for their children. How old is your son? Sometimes parents look for what their parents need for their children. If your child is expressing a phase of stress, ..., observe how you are, evaluate the volume of activity of you and your child. Sometimes leaving space for rest and the child's growth is the most favorable, in these cases it is up to the parents to take care of personal work, which implies the practice of Yoga, it is the adult who must attend class.
On other occasions, it is the children who must enjoy this wonderful and enriching experience, maintain the connection with oneself.
The Yoga classes for children are designed for children between the ages of 3 and 11. The content is fully adapted to these ages, taking the game as a means to bring the child closer to the knowledge of the different branches of yoga Yamas, Niyamas, Asanas, Pranayama, Pratyajara, Dharana and Diana. The programming of said content has been carried out for a complete course, which will last one year.
Normally the course begins with the school year and ends with it. The duration of the classes is one hour. In it we will use different tools to work on the content, among these we will use stories, mantras (sing), Mandalas (draw), dynamic group games, games with Asanas, Asanas (adapted to age), Pranayamas (for these ages), and breathing games.
Through this practice we will offer children a tool that helps them to recognize their emotions.
The backbone of all this work will be emotional education, where our goal is for the child to learn to recognize how they feel, and to channel said emotion by making it aware, in this way possible blockages at an emotional level will dissipate. The importance of alleviating and dissipating these blockages lies in enhancing the development of the child. It has been shown that emotional blocks influence the learning process, in addition to being the seed of the armor that does not allow the expression and connection of the person with the self.
Yoga practice will result in a calmer mind, greater attention span and concentration. By working with the body (Asanas), it will strengthen, balance, and cleanse. The practice of Asanas in the development of the child will act as the tutor of a tree in its growth.
Om Shanti.

CONSULTATION IN PSYCHOLOGY
Among the services we offer we include a support consultation at the psychological level.
This service consists of applying different knowledge and praxis at the level of psychology to help people improve their quality of life.
At Karuna we are oriented towards humanistic and transpersonal psychology. The main characteristic of this branch of psychology is that we are focusing on the resources and skills that can help the person to alleviate suffering at the mental and emotional level.
Although it can sometimes be useful to look into the person's past to inquire about past traumas, in our case we prefer to put more emphasis on their present to design a better future, using the teachings provided by the latest discoveries of the past. new sciences such as epigenetics, neurosciences or quantum physics, since all these new sciences point towards the possibilities and move away from the old dogmas.
Through mutual dialogue we try to present an alternative to the perceptions that prevents the person from being well. YOGA classes for PREGNANT WOMEN
YOGA FOR PREGNANT
“In each of the living cells there is an embers of conscience. When the baby begins to assume its physical form, the sparks of consciousness from each of the cells unite with each other, igniting the baby's self-awareness. This flame of consciousness, known in Ayurveda as agni, becomes brighter and brighter as the degree of biological complexity increases. Fire is fueled by the action of the essential life force known as prana, while the essence of biological integrity or ojas organizes cells into a cohesive unified system. "
Pregnancy is a very special stage in a woman's life that is accompanied by numerous changes at the physical and emotional level, our posture is modified, changes occur at the respiratory, lumbopelvic, vascular, visceral, urogynecological level ... Practice yoga during this Period will help us to integrate these changes and to live the pregnancy with health.
The practice of yoga for pregnant women will be a great help as a complement to the physical preparation for childbirth and will help us to have a better postpartum recovery. Our classes are designed specifically for this period and work from the care and respect to the bodily and emotional needs of the future mother.
Before starting the practice, we recommend that you consult with your gynecologist if the exercise is appropriate for your specific case. As a general rule, yoga for pregnant women is not contraindicated, there are still specific cases in which the pregnant woman needs special attention. AliveFullness classes
ALIVEFULLNESS
Literally, "Jungle LifeFullness" means:
"Jungle" refers to where we live, a place full of beauty… and danger!
"Life"; in Spanish, life.
"Fullness"; in Spanish, plenitud.
The Jungle LifeFullness is a set of techniques and strategies both at the physical and psychological level, to improve our quality of life.It is like a "toolbox" to cultivate our well-being and our health. The concept of "health" as we work on it can be divided into 5 levels:
Physical level (the body itself).
Mental level (the psyche, the intrapersonal part).
Emotional level. (the affective)
Social level (relationships, the interpersonal part).
Spiritual level (the transpersonal part).
In the most physical part, we practice exercises that help improve joint mobility, postural hygiene, breathing, flexibility and relaxation. Digito-pressure and self-massage techniques are also used.In the most psychological part, we work with visualization, affirmations, conscious autosuggestion and other techniques such as Mindfulness (exercises in full consciousness), based on the latest discoveries in neuroscience, epigenetics and quantum physics.
You can start to practice Life Fullness regardless of age or physical condition. May it be for an athlete who wants to improve specific skills, for a housewife who needs to "do something" to regain a little more health, for the elderly whose skills are diminished, or for anyone who needs effective tools to manage your stress in everyday life.
MEDITATION is an important part of this teaching. -
PILATES classes
WHAT IS PILATES?
The Pilates method is a gentle gymnastics, a postural correction technique that helps correct ailments due to bad body habits and reduce physical tensions as well as the level of stress.
It is a training method based on the toning of the deep muscles of the body.
Through the application of essential principles, such as concentration, center, control and breathing, simple movements are executed that help to awaken and develop body awareness in order to enhance the natural mechanisms of self-regulation (homeostasis) of the body / mind set.
It is a very effective technique, however, its learning is not complicated, and with clear and direct instructions you can experience a deep and lasting change in a short time.
The benefits are felt quickly (between 1 and 5 sessions), both physically (strength, balance, flexibility, coordination) and emotional and mental (greater self-esteem, confidence, calm, self-control, concentration and relaxation).

The martial part (self defense)
The therapeutic part (part that includes Taoist and Chi Krung exercises)
The spiritual part (meditative techniques)
In practice, smooth and flowing movements promote body awareness: balance, coordination, relaxation. It also enhances mental concentration and global vitality, reducing the level of stress and anxiety. It can be started at any age, regardless of physical condition.

MARTIAL ARTS classes (PERSONAL DEFENSE)
MARTIAL ARTS
By "martial arts", we mean not only a self defense system, but also a practical philosophy applied to everyday life.
At the level of strict self-defense, we try to prepare the practitioner for a confrontation in a real situation. So we practice exercises for various distances: legs, fists, knees, elbows, grips, dislocations, throws, hand-to-hand fighting and ground. The use of weapons such as clubs, canes, knives and everyday objects (such as keys, magazine, bottle, backpack, etc.) is also included.
Apart from physical and technical preparation, we emphasize psychological preparation. Not only does fitness (different physical skills and abilities) matter, attitude (emotional and mental predisposition) matters even more
Especially in practice with the youngest (“Kung Fu for children” -from 5 to 15 years -approximately-).
The difference we make between martial art for adults and children is that in the case of children, we insist much more on the issue of moral discipline and emotional control. For them, the objective is not to stimulate aggressiveness, but to promote control of drives and dialogue capacities to resolve conflicts, thus enhancing self-confidence and empathy for others.

Within the E.P. We include the possibility of forming small groups (in principle up to a maximum of 3 people) as long as the objective is common (such as: Lose weight, improve your physical condition, your concentration, increase your strength, your flexibility, or learn to better manage stress and be more relaxed, etc.).
